What is Pokodrop?
Pokodrop is a zero-friction document collection platform designed for physical service counters, photocopy shops, print bureaus, medical diagnostic centers, and businesses. It replaces messy messaging apps by allowing walk-in customers to drop files in 10 seconds via a counter QR code.
Does the customer need to download an app or create an account?
No. Customers never need to install an app, download APKs, or register accounts. Scanning your counter QR code opens your shop's dedicated upload portal directly in their mobile browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge, Samsung Internet).
How fast is the document upload process?
From scanning the QR code to finishing the upload takes on average 5 to 10 seconds. Customers select their files and tap upload; files are encrypted and transferred to the shop's live dashboard immediately.
What file formats are supported?
Pokodrop supports all standard document and image formats including PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, JPG, PNG, WEBP, and TXT files, including multi-page and bulk file uploads.
Security, Privacy & Encryption
How does Pokodrop protect sensitive customer documents?
Pokodrop uses 256-bit client-side zero-knowledge encryption via modern Web Cryptography APIs. Files are encrypted on the customer's smartphone before transmission. Plaintext files never sit on Pokodrop cloud servers.
Can Pokodrop employees or third parties see customer files?
No. Because files are encrypted client-side with shop-specific cryptographic keys, Pokodrop infrastructure only handles encrypted ciphertext blobs. We have zero knowledge of the underlying document contents.
How long are uploaded documents stored?
Uploaded documents are ephemeral. Once the shop operator prints or downloads the files, they can wipe the session immediately in 1 click. Automated TTL policies automatically purge completed and expired sessions.
Why is Pokodrop safer than WhatsApp or email for print shops?
Personal messaging apps require exchanging personal phone numbers and permanently save unencrypted files into device galleries and chat logs. Pokodrop eliminates contact sharing and purges files immediately after printing.

How does a shop operator print customer files?
When a customer uploads documents, a new session card appears in real-time on the shop's web dashboard. The operator clicks 'Direct Print' to open the native system print dialogue immediately without cluttering the PC's Downloads folder, or clicks 'Download' if editing is required.
Do I need special printers or hardware to use Pokodrop?
No. Pokodrop works in any standard desktop browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) on Windows, Mac, or Linux and connects natively to your existing laser, inkjet, or thermal printers.
How do I get my counter QR code stand?
Once you create your free shop account, go to Dashboard → QR Stand. You can instantly download and print high-resolution A4/A5 PDF templates or acrylic stand inserts featuring your custom shop QR code.
